"Zero Pollution (港。環保)" is a board game project cooperated with a social enterprise. The board game aims to enhance environmental awareness and promote junk classification while chlidren are playing it. The players collect and classify the trash cards to get most amounts of energy crystals. The player who get most amounts of energy crystals wins the game.

In this project, I participated from initial idea, research and game rule design to the game printing and promotion. During 9 months, I ran game tests with different age groups, for example, primary and secondary school students, parents, game designers, game lovers etc. After Zero Pollution published, I shared and taught the board game to players directly with teen volunteers in schools, community centres and Hong Kong Book Fair.

Simulation of light pollution in urban city!

Glare city is an installation that simulates the light problem in urban city. A city built on our planet, with light being emitted everywhere. It is time for us to wonder what happen if you take the first move to dim the light. Would there be another beautiful view after all the excess light is taken away from our living habitat? Would there be common and better way to solve this problem? Now, move your hands to cover the light sources. Take your time to feel it deeply and you will find that it is not such a difficult thing to protect our world from those fidgety lights.

School Survivors is a series of arena matches played with classmates and compete within classes. It is an interclass game that each class strike to increase the individual survivors in their class and become the first survivor in school. With more survivors left each round, more scores will be gained. Class which gains 50 points first becomes the first survivor and wins the game. The game motivates secondary school students to exercise by encouraging team work and promoting self-esteem. It combined physical mini game and Kinect sport games to add more fun to exercise.
